Library

My sleep and dream library is quite extensive! With so many ways to read and listen to books, I quickly become immersed in the world of the sleeping mind. These are just a few of my favorites, though this list will continue to grow! Be sure to check out the Libby App, too!

I believe his book, Why We Sleep should be required reading for all. For some quick hits of wisdom, Google any of his super engaging talks.

Arianna Huffington is a high-profile, influential leader in business. It’s precisely for this reason that I love her book, The Sleep Revolution. Because our culture perpetuates the myth that sleeping is for the lazy and that we will “sleep when we die,” having a leader like Arianna as a spokesperson for sleep is enormous.

In-Depth Training

Although dreaming is a pretty solo practice, there is a great community of dreamers out there training in lucid dreams. I am heavily involved in both Kristen and Andrew’s work and I cannot recommend them enough!

Kristen LaMarca

Kristen’s 6-week online course in lucid dreaming is incredibly thorough, engaging, and thoughtful. I was skeptical of an online program, but I was absolutely proven wrong! Between expert teaching, easy to understand coursework, and an incredible community of dreamers, this course is essential for anyone interesting in exploring their dreams.

Andrew Holecek

Andrew is an incredible teacher, author, and expert in the world of dream. His practice goes well beyond the basics of lucid dreaming and goes deep into the path of spiritual grown. Andrew brings eastern traditions and western philosophies together in a holistic, friendly, and approachable way. The Night Club Community is not to be missed.

Other Goodies

Here are some other goodies in my overnight bag.

Manta Sleep Mask

I have three Manta Sleep Masks: One for my bedside, one for the road, and one in the freezer. I can’t get over how good these are! I’ve tried so many masks through the years, all never actually blocking out the light. When I discovered this mask, everything changed for me. I wear it every night and never leave home with out it. This and earplugs!

Headspace

Mindfulness meditation can improve the quality of sleep and help relax the mind. We all have different relationships with meditation. For some, it’s more spiritual, and for others, it’s a way to pause. I love Headspace because it gradually helps those newer to mindfulness learn and grow. It’s a modern approach that works quite well for me.

Galantamine

Galantamine is a natural supplement that when used in small doses (4-12mg), can help induce lucid dreams. It’s quite effective for me. I use it when I really have a strong goal. Of course, supplements can impact every body differently, so be sure to consult your doctor for medical advice. This is just my experience.
